Tell it what’s happening, and it suggests a program, chooses the right Room 217 content and explains why it may help. you then follow the program step by step, with a facilitation guide. You can also ask it questions or plan ahead.

  • No. No musical background is needed. Anyone can use music care, and MUSIC CARE AI helps you do it with confidence.

  • No. Music therapy is a regulated profession delivered by accredited music therapists. Music care is the intentional use of music by anyone to improve health and well-being. it complements music therapy and doesn’t replace it.

  • No. All Room 217 music is made by real people. Our music has been recorded over many years with live musicians using original music or licensed cover versions of familiar songs. The images are also licensed by Room 217, not generated by AI. The Companion helps you find and use the Room 217 music. It doesn’t create it.

  • No. It supports caregivers. It never replaces human care or clinical judgement.

  • Streaming services offer music but no care context or guidance. General AI assistants don’t draw on vetted music care content. MUSIC CARE AI is guided music care, built on Room 217’s evidence-informed catalogue of designed songs, videos and activities.
