MUSIC CARE AI comes from the Room 217 Foundation, a Canadian charity that has worked to bring music into care for more than two decades.

Human connection first • AI is the helper

TRUSTWORTHY

REAL TIME GUIDANCE

Research tells us that music helps to reduce agitation, increase engagement and connection and reduce isolation. Every person is different, so we describe what music care can support, never what it will cure or treat.

Evidence-informed

Our promises

What you can count on from us, every time you turn to your MUSIC CARE Companion.

WHAT YOU CAN COUNT ON

Older woman with short, gray hair wearing large over-ear headphones, smiling with her eyes closed.

Grounded in trust content

The Companion draws on Room 217’s evidence-informed library and music care knowledge base, not the open internet. That’s what makes it different from a general AI assistant.

Music care, not music therapy

Music care is the intentional use of music by anyone to improve health and well-being. Music therapy is a regulated profession delivered by accredited music therapists. MUSIC CARE AI complements it and does not replace it.

Supports you, never replaces you

The Companion guides caregivers. It never replaces human care or clinical judgement. You know the person in front of you best. AI-generated ideas are meant to support caregivers, not replace medical advice.

Your information

We never sell your information. MUSIC CARE AI is processed primarily in Canada and what you enter is not used to train outside AI models. Please don’t enter names or health details about the people you care for. Read our full Privacy Policy.
